Tour focuses on the contributions of Black Americans in Tallahassee, Florida, and United States history through the lens of The Grove Museum.
Spring Nature Walks, April 2026, dates/times TBD.
Tour focuses on identifying and managing native and invasive plants, studying and interpreting historic landscapes, and unique features of The Grove property.
Historic Preservation Month, May 2026, dates/times TBD.
Tour focuses on innovative historic preservation approaches used in the award-winning Call-Collins House restoration project.
Emancipation Day, May 20, 2026. Offered at 2:00 p.m.
Tour focuses on the significance of Emancipation in the context of Tallahassee, Florida, and broader themes in American history and historic preservation, through the lens of The Grove Museum.
All of the above listed Thematic Tours are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Guests should wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to stand or walk, indoors and outdoors, for the majority of each program.
