Eighth Annual Grove Day!

March 8, 2025

10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

Celebrate The Grove Museum's opening anniversary and Florida Archaeology Month with a day of special programs for the whole family!

Enjoy musical performances, outdoor games and activities, and learn about the history and archeology of the site. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the grounds in bloom.

Grove Day 2025 Program and Performance Schedule: 

10:00 AM to 4:00 PM—Museum galleries open, hourly tours of the Call-Collins House, and guides stationed in the museum to provide information and answer questions
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM—Information and activities provided by community partners, including:
- Florida Department of Transportation
- Florida Public Archaeology Network
- John G. Riley Center & Museum
- LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library
- Panhandle Archaeological Society at Tallahassee
- Tallahassee Historical Society
- UF/IFAS Leon County Extension Office

10:30 AM to 11:30 AM—Children’s musical program led by the Runaway Biscuits

11:30 AM to 12:30 PM—guided tour of the new temporary exhibit Beyond the Suit, featuring clothing accessories owned by Governor LeRoy Collins

1:30 PM to 2:30 PM—guided Florida Archaeology Month Tour and Ground-Penetrating Radar Demonstration

All-Day—children’s crafts, hands-on activities for all ages, and lawn games

Grove Day 2025 Food Vendor Schedule: 

Food Trucks offering food and beverages for purchase:
- 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM—Street Chefs and SWAT (Seafood Wings &Things)

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: House tours on the hour, 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

Saturday: House tours on the hour, 10, 11 a.m., Noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

Closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

Group Tours: Tours for groups of ten (10) or more are available at $1.00 per guest. For group tours, please contact the museum in advance to make arrangements.

Grounds open Wednesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
