Backyard Discovery 

Backyard Discovery connects you to the natural and cultural history of The Grove through hands-on science activities. 


Bring your kids to enjoy a read-aloud children's story followed by an exciting activity.

Nature Walks

Join staff and members of the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) - Hairstreak Chapter for a stroll around the grounds.


History Happy Hour

This ticketed program is your chance to visit The Grove Museum after hours, for lively conversations about history and historic preservation.

Winter Open House

Join us for festive décor, seasonal treats, and special programs. 

Director's Tours

Join the Executive Director for in-depth guided tours of the museum.


The Friends of Florida History, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides financial support to The Grove Museum and other programs of the Florida Department of State's Division of Historical Resources and Office of External Affairs.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: House tours on the hour, 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

Saturday: House tours on the hour, 10, 11 a.m., Noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

Closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday

Group Tours: Tours for groups of ten (10) or more are available at $1.00 per guest. For group tours, please contact the museum in advance to make arrangements.

Grounds open Wednesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
