Birdhouses

In 2018, Grove staff used oak salvaged from the property to build six boxes for Eastern bluebirds and place them around the site. Bluebirds increased on the site the following year. In the spring, nests are now frequently found inside the boxes.

Check out this video on Facebook showing young hatchlings inside the box southeast of the Call-Collins House (video opens in a separate tab).
